What this calculator does
It estimates what your rink would save on natural gas and electricity with REALice, using the same assumptions as our verified baseline: 160 gallons per flood, floodwater heated from your supply temperature to 160°F, and a warmer brine set point.
The defaults describe a typical single pad. Change the ones you know; leave the rest.
What it doesn't do
It doesn't know your utility's rebates, your boiler's real efficiency or your plant's condition. For a number you can take to council, we prepare a full estimate and check the incentives for you.
