Four ice makers using REALice – Ryan Hobby, Wayne Bacon, Paul Jackson, and Tim Morrison – discuss how difficult it was to go from hot water to REALice, and whether they were concerned about harming their “best ice” reputation by going to REALice. We hear about their sometimes surprising observations, including clearer logos come season’s end, denser ice, less maintenance, feedback from coaches and teams, way lower floodwater temps and higher brine/slab settings, lower compressor run times – even better-smelling facilities.
