With the new cold water system, we not only save five thousand dollars per year and 40 tonnes of GHG emissions, but the ice is also much clearer and noticeably smoother!
The savings are because we don’t have to spend energy heating the water up to remove air bubbles, as the vortex technology does that to cold water. And the ice plant doesn’t have to work as hard to freeze the ice!
