Why training is important

John Dewey, the American philosopher and educator, said

“Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.”

At the ORFA Conference earlier this month, we happened to meet some students taking a course towards their Certified Ice Technician designation. They were subsequently interviewed by ORFA – and we couldn’t help but notice the REALice toque on top of one of their heads!
