Here are three of our highlights of 2018 that we are proud of and thankful for:
1.) First university in Canada turning off the hot water for ice making
The Clare Drake Arena of the University of Alberta in Edmonton marks the first university in Canada making the switch to cold water flooding.
Thank you for coming on board and inspiring other universities to follow your lead!
2.) First two arenas in the NHL adding REALice to their setup
Thank you to Rogers Arena in Vancouver BC and Barclays Center in Brooklyn for showing that the resurfacing temperature can be lowered with REALice and highest quality ice achieved and maintained.
3.) First Nations run arena adds REALice
Thank you to River Cree Twin Rinks for being the first ice arena owned and operated by an indigenous group removing hot water from their resurfacing practices.
You are a trailblazer for many other arenas run by First Nations shining a light on cost savings and ice quality.
