17 Dec Breamar Arenas in Minnesota go green!
Braemar Arena in Edina, Minn., under the direction of Susie Miller, has become the first rink in Minnesota to install the new water treatment system REALice.
Braemar installed the REALice system in September of 2014. Benefitting from the design of the arena, one system services two sheets of ice. A second REALice system was installed in February of 2015, servicing the two remaining rinks.
Miller is very pleased with the results, reporting that her skaters love the new ice.
Braemar has saved over US $25,000 in energy costs. Susie was interested in maintaining top quality ice and saving money. REALice accomplished that.
